11/19/05 ARCH RIVAL - What's New?
Fall, Winter gear; jackets, wool next to skin shirts, tote bags, trail shoes.
- DENALI JACKET ($165) The most popular jacket in the U.S. by North Face. Also,
DENALI VEST ($120)
Both feature Polartec, reinforced shoulders and laterals with vest chest pocket; supplex abrasion resistance fabric and water repellent.
- HORNY TOAD cozy LS top and Pants
- "Skin 200" ICEBREAKER men and women's LS shirts. (I use this one for cycling: it keeps me warm, but breathes well - and doesn't pick up odor)
- Also been using the SMARTWOOL lightweight half zip LS shirt. Works very well without overheating.
- Reflective vests, safety lights
I'm still amazed that at least twice per week as I commute home by bicycle that I come across cyclists and runners dressed in dark clothing, without reflective vests or flashlights for protection and visibility..
So if you do run in the dark, take the proper precautions!
